Terrorism in India

“Mumbai is a world class city,” shouted politicians…What world class city? Terrorists came in by sea, conducted 10 coordinated strikes and what do the politicians say, “Condolences.” This strike demonstrates the inefficiency of the government…Our brave BUT unequipped cops with tiny 1947 era revolvers & rifles were forced to combat assailants with AK47s and satellite phones!!!! Our government cannot even handle rescue operations during the floods let alone diffuse bombs, negotiate and attack gunmen with sophisticated weapons…This government is invisible and non-existent…This government is sleeping!!!! We need a peoples’s revolution!!!

  1. It is time, perhaps to suspend elections for a decade and have a national government which can go about its job without petty political considerations

  2. A national government, impossible as it may seem, would be headed by a leader, not necessary a politician, acceptable to all parties and have a mix of political leaders and top professionals.

  3. I like your idea but I don’t think it’s practical…Imagine the various political parties agreeing on one leader…But yes, something has to be done…

  4. “Mumbai is a world class city” and the terrorist have ruined our “chances to become like HK or Shanghai” (TOM).
What is factual and what is fictional.Bollywood rules our lives where there is a hugh dissconnect between reality and fiction.
Yes, revolution is a must if we are to achieve a change in our country. Will this mean a suspension of democracy?

Lashkar-e-tayaba/Taliban have burned all the girls schools in northern Pakistan they are sick minded ppl, and only a mentally sick person can do what happened in Mumbai. I was shocked and cried been a Pakistani I love going to India and love the warmth and friendly ppl there, but the Qs is IS IT GOING TO B TH SAME
